Construction Project Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to do the following: estimate and manage multiple projects concurrently, act independently to develop plans, scope, timing, and phasing, communicate effectively with staff and other professionals. At times, project managers will be asked to cooperate with the sales team to develop or close sales opportunities and attend outreach programs/efforts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

· Develop negotiated projects – meet with clients, medical equipment suppliers, architect to assist in developing scope, phasing, and timing.

· Bid competitive projects when necessary – review plans and site to develop bid

· Develop and maintain long-term relationships with project clients, subcontractors, and vendors

· Set up walk throughs, create bid list, develop supplemental info to convey complete scope to Subcontractors for accurate pricing

· Review and qualify bids to create customer estimate.

· Present to GM for pre-review and present to client alongside Norwest business development team member.

· Follow permit process, when necessary

· Be comfortable reviewing construction drawings and assist design team with constructability and value engineering as needed

· Review and manage Submittals, Shop Drawings and RFI’s alongside Superintendent

· Assist Superintendent in developing schedule and sequencing, communicate with client and subcontractors.

· Manage communication with subcontractors, client, suppliers, etc. during construction process alongside Project Assistant.

· Address changes with field, client, subcontractors as needed.

· Close out projects with support of Project Assistant

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

· High School Diploma

· College Degree- preferred

· Some construction/project management experience. (3+ years minimum)

· Procore or other project management software preferred

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

· Valid Driver’s License

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
