CUI’s dramatic upward sales trajectory convinced management their best option to accommodate future growth was to purchase a new 50,000 sq. ft. building. Although management lacked experience in design and construction, they understood clearly their needs and the interior environment they wanted. To achieve their goals they needed a general contractor who shared their vision and took an active role in the process. They wanted to incorporate their innovative style in the look of their building.

By creating a stone look, tile floors with mosaic inset, and a floating staircase one walks into a lobby that is impressive and unique. The final touch was hanging a cluster of large globe pendants to impress any future clients.

CUI was so happy with the look and Norwest, they hired Norwest again for the upper story addition. The second floor included adding more work stations, offices, a customer lounge and incorporating the same lobby stone on the walls of their new conference/training room.
