Our planning process begins with the Know Your Building™ (KYB) approach. This proprietary methodology is a rigorous process which extends far beyond the initial conversations with our clients. KYB starts with doing homework up front in a detail-oriented fashion, researching building infrastructure, jurisdictions, selecting the right subcontractors, etc. This typically requires early involvement at the vision formulation stage. Our early investigation can uncover potential speed bumps or raise red flags that might affect the budget. We believe the KYB is the best path to delivering on your vision—on time and on budget with no surprises.

Our design service starts with the end in mind—designers carry the vision through to Norwest construction managers. You have a project that has a consistent delivery with no finger pointing or unnecessary delays. There are fewer change orders—which keep costs down. Our unique DesignLab represents an innovative approach of letting customers actually see designs as they take shape—where clients can work with our designers to realize their vision in advance of production. In addition to Norwest direct design services we maintain an excellent network of specialists who complement us so that you always have best of breed expertise—all managed through Norwest.
